As discussed, your team is to be redeployed to New Orleans shortly in order to continue seeking information on the Lazarus Talisman, and Nova Record's connection to anti-Shadowkind organizations.  Sir Odair is ideally placed to create opportunities for infiltration, but due to the security breach, which may have granted our enemies information about your identities, disguises may prove useful when moving about Nova Headquarters.  

Discovering the possibility that some of these anti-Shadow groups are investigating ways to mind-control Shadow creatures has made it clear that our responsibility is to discover the root of this conspiracy and destroy it, as well as learning what we can of the fate of the Talisman.  Because of the expanded nature of this mission, and the difficulties it may present, you will be returning to New Orleans along with Sir Thomas Bancroft, one of our Dragon's Claws.  It is to be understood that while he is involved with your mission, all members of the team will answer to his orders.  

Our ploy to make it appear as if we have extracted ourselves from this case seems to have met with some success, as reports indicate Chad Becksworth may be returning shortly to Nova's New Orleans HQ shortly.  You may have a very small window before his suspicions are raised.  Leave no stone unturned in searching that building.

Rafael called me to say he'd work with us in Nova however we need him. Considering they tried to cut him a deal before, it should be easy for him to move inside of the HQ too.

The more, the merrier, is it? Perhaps he can arrange a meeting with this other Becksworth when he rears his head.

He heads up a resistance against the anti-Shadowkind sentiments in Italy, figured this was right up his alley. And, lucky for us, his schedule cleared up. I told him I'd text him our flight plans so he can meet us there.

Wynn's filled me in on the details. He's also connected to this Jade bird, meaning he's more likely to recognize information that might have been left by her before she lost her memories. I've no problem with his involvement.

Oh! Great. Shoulda figured you were all up-to-date guy. Well, in that case, I'm ... I'm glad bringing him on board get the Bancroft seal of approval.

Assuming he doesn't end up being more trouble than he's worth, of course.

Interesting that by your estimation a lion would account for no trouble. [ there's clear amusement there, quite a bit of it, actually. he seems to find the topic especially entertaining. ]

Well ... if it were a trained lion that liked us as much as Rafael does, sure. [ beat ] Think I could get one?

Anything's possible. But you might want to ask his opinion.

I imagine he might want to have a say.
