Our Knights have returned from scouting out the area where Keijen Blade ascended to godhood. What they've seen is certainly troubling on a number of levels. We know that there are survivors in the area, who have bunkered down to protect themselves. What they are facing is an influx of evil - forces that are otherworldly in their abilities, perhaps even demonic in nature.
Also troubling is that the United States military has allied itself with users of dark magic to combat this threat, and holds the line, allowing no entrance into the area. They have proven that we cannot trust them as allies in this fight.
Furthermore, we have picked up reports that monsters of all types are being drawn to the site, often crossing the country in packs to reach it and leaving trails of devastation in their wake.

We see no choice but to take this evil head-on. We are relocating our base of operations to America, where we need to operate in complete secrecy, given the United States' recent declaration of War on Shadowkind. We will be working there on three goals: finding a way to infiltrate the line with an army of Knights, to face this evil head-on, protecting citizens from the monsters that are gathering to this area, and liberating what Shadowkind we can from the American internment camps.
This is an incredibly dangerous mission, the scope of which we have not seen before, even since our part in the second World War. But we need all hands on deck if we hope to have any measure of success in this war.
We are arranging magical transportation to a secured location near Las Vegas. We will be staying in what is effectively an abandoned casino, and Knights will be required to follow strict protocols in order to keep the location a secret. We will work to preserve magical wards that create the illusion that no one is there but the greatest defense we have is your adherence to preserving that secrecy.
The fates have aligned to bring us to this moment. Take only what you require to survive. We will not be able to readily return here until this ends.

[ it's been only a couple of days since the events in Los Angeles, and just as Failboat is heading overseas, and the Section Heads are putting together their plans for a recon mission, a special address from the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is announced.
within an hour, he appears, the message going out on TV and internet streams everywhere. ]
By this time, most have heard of the terrible attack happening in Los Angeles right now. There have been a lot of questions, many questions, about what is going on, and what we're doing about it. Believe me, our boys have been on the ground since this has began, some of our best generals, very experienced generals, trying to get a feel for how we can stop this thing and save the people of California. California - beautiful state, LA is a fabulous city - and we will not leave those people to the mercy of whatever evil things are going after them right now.
What we can tell you is that this was an attack on American soil by a powerful Shadowkind, one who is summoning up allies from the other Shadow in our country. Attacks have not been limited to LA. In fact, there have been multiple accounts of violent incidents by these Shadowkind spreading across our country in the months leading up to this. Since the first days of my campaign, I have been pointing out the need to find a way to vet these foreign invaders who appear in our streets, many of them murderers, monsters, armed to the teeth from the second they set foot here.
One thing has been made very clear from all this - these Shadowkind are dangerous. They are not our friends, they are not here to bring peace. We have been infiltrated by enemies from the inside out, by these non-human creatures who have gotten into positions of power in our country, into positions where they can learn valuable intelligence, into positions where they are trusted with our women and children.
That is why as of today, the United States government is declaring a War on Shadowkind. We will be working with our best researchers to find a way to stop the tide of this invasion, and detaining all recognized Shadowkind until they can be evaluated and vetted fully by your government. All Shadowkind are asked to report to their local registration areas, which can be located on the White House website. Failure to report will result in immediate incarceration, and subject to trial.
Now is a time to show our enemies what we are made of and Make America Great Again.

Your section heads have met with the Knights who returned alive from Los Angeles, as well as debriefing Jack Chessing on what occurred. We can at this time confirm that Keijen Blade found a way to kill his own father, the drow god Malaak'a, after breaking the seal on his divine prison and unleashing him in this world. Blade has, somehow, absorbed at least some of the powers of his father's previous domain.
Wynn himself remained behind, engaging in singular combat with Blade, while Sir Chessing gave an order for the rest to retreat.
We have no way of knowing whether Wynn is still alive, and therefore must carry on as though he were not, to face this threat. All communications have been cut off with the LA area, and so we will be assembling a team to attempt to go in on foot for reconnaissance, before deciding how best to next proceed. It is essential that all Knights recognize that this is now our driving mission. All other matters must be put aside for the time being. We will not force anyone to go into the field, given the deadly nature of what we are no likely up against, but we will insist upon support from all Knights, adherence to orders, and extensive training from even those stationed here at the castle, in case this evil spreads and becomes something that none of us can avoid. Those who are not willing to do this will not be offered the protections of this castle - we have dealt with the sudden revelation of traitors within our own walls, agents of the Nine Hells themselves, and those who will not take action to work with us, even in a support capacity, cannot be trusted with access to our resources and intelligence on this matter.
This situation is, quite simply, all hands on deck. If you will not stand with us, you are choosing to actively forsake your place in this Knighthood. We understand that some will make this choice willingly, to go be with family or loved ones outside these walls. We have reason to believe, as well, that the villain known as the Mind Master, an associate of Keijen Blade's and a powerful psionic demon, may have extended a level of mental influence over some of the agents who have been deeply involved in the mission to halt this from occurring over the last five years. Because of the possibility of this, those Knights will be removed from action for the time being, until Blade is stopped and she destroyed. We cannot risk the damage they may otherwise do, against their own wills, and would spare them that psychological damage as well.
Unfortunately, this includes our own Sir Chessing. The Section Heads have voted myself and Sir Hasmed into the position of acting Dragon's Claws. Should we discover in our intelligence gathering that Wynn is still alive, we will hold those positions until such time as Blade and the Mind Master are defeated, their influence broken, and restore leadership of this Knighthood to Wynnefalshond and Sir Chessing. For the time being, however, there is evidence that either of them may have been swayed in some way, and thus we must act in the best interests of completing this mission.
Training will begin in the next few days, overseen by both Sir Ironsides and Sir Wellington, as well as the Hellsing militia, who will be granting us the benefit of their military experience. You are expected to report daily for combat training beginning at 0600, training location assignments to be announced before then. You are to treat the orders of Hellsing commander Peter Ferguson with due respect and dignity. The Hellsing forces have extensive experience in fighting evil monsters, and we have partnered with Sir Integra Hellsing in this endeavor. They will be arriving in the next twenty-four hours.
These are dark times, indeed. But now, more than ever, it is important that we stand together, put aside all grudges, and rise to the occasion for which each of us has sworn a life-binding oath.

As most of you are now aware, there has been an incident in Los Angeles, during a mission regarding Keijen Blade, which Wynn himself was a part of. We have confirmed the deaths of several Knights - Sir Felicity Braddock, Sir Lydia Martin, Sir Alice Lincoln, Sir Abigail Hobbs, and Sir Alanna. Myrilandel Odair is currently in some sort of catatonic condition. Early reports from Sir Chessing indicate that a ritual was conducted that unleashed a god upon this world from the Shadow World - a god who was slain by his own son. Such an act has no doubt created a site of extreme magical desecration, the effects of which have never been seen in this world.
Reports also suggest that Wynn is not returning with the team that was sent, although his present circumstances remain unknown. For the time, the Section Heads will convene with Sir Chessing upon the team's arrival to learn what we can, and decisions will be reached about the steps we are to take next as an organization, versus this great evil.
Other information has come to light to suggest that there may be some among our number that we cannot trust. Due to this, it has been decided that certain emergency conditions will be put into place until further discussion may be had among leadership. Certain magical protections will be put into place on the castle to further shield us from outside attacks. More importantly, however, we are recalling all active Knights to the castle itself, and requiring that no one leave until a decision is reached about how to proceed. Those who do not heed this recall risk being excommunicated from sensitive mission details going forward, and will not be allowed back in our doors. the keijen blade concert was televised, for anyone curious to watch, although many of the failboaters had cautioned (including a sign taped to the TV by kat) to keep it on mute, lest they get brainwashed by blade's voice.
the cameras did not last through the entire thing, but what they did see was... disturbing. at one point, in the giant concert hall, a large glass pane lifted between blade and the audience, as he sang a taunting number, at the end of which, the ceiling split open pouring boiling hot lava onto the hundreds of concert attendees, who were boiled alive. Some might know that they had friends away on that mission, friends who had said they were going to be in the crowd as back-up. The last images broadcast before cuts to a live newcast trying to make sense of what was happening as the cameras melted seemed to confirm the deaths of anyone inside.
The panicked reporters spoke of unusual sightings in the area, a horribly darkening sky above the concert hall. Monsters appearing out of nowhere. Chaos.

His Pathfinder group is all the way out in New York and when he ditched to go become an actual knight as opposed to playing one with dice, he left the game as well. They tried skyping him in for a little while, but well, timezones. It was pretty difficult. And he misses it.
He can't be the only one, though, so he sends out a message, hoping there are some like-minded people around. There have to be other nerds here, right?]
Sooo does anyone play Dungeons and Dragons here? Well, more specifically, I'm looking for Pathfinder, but if there's a group going on already, I could even settle for 5e.

This same woman worked with Dimitris Sarandis and his fellow cultists, and participated in the attack on our castle this winter.

I should start by apologizing. By now, I'm sure you're sick with worry. There many things surrounding my departure that I'm afraid I can't go into, but I can tell you that I am safe and that it hasn't been my intention to worry you or anyone else.
The work we do, the work we've always done has a way of leading us to strange and unexpected opportunities. Right now, I feel as though this is where I need to be. I do not intend for this to be the last we speak. But, for now, I cannot disclose my location. I fear that too many within our organization wouldn't understand my decisions. You may not either. I wouldn't blame you for that. But I hope that you will trust me enough to know that I wouldn't do something like this if I didn't feel as though it were important.
Please let the others know that I'm alright- Gus and Rose especially. My squires Dean and Alisha as well. If Wynn sees fit to reassign them, I wouldn't blame him. Though, honestly Dean has more than proven himself and could easily be promoted if Wynn deemed it appropriate. I'll leave that to his discretion, though.
