[ Fred Jr. has his srs business face on, and he's in the middle of gearing up as he records the following. ]

Putting out a call to any and all Knights near the London area: we've got an emergency situation that's going to need a lot of numbers out there if we want to get this under control.  Cars will be leaving to cart Knights or squires into the city for those who can't drive themselves.  Make sure you're well armed or armored if you're going to join us out there.

What we're dealing with is something called a Fihyr - or rather, a whole mess of 'em.  The best way to explain these things is that they form out of the collective fear of a large group of people, physically manifesting into grotesque monsters that aren't so bad on their own, but can swarm and combine into one big Megazord Fihyr that's a helluva lot more powerful.

It looks like one of those Greater Fihyr came through the Veil in the middle of the city - and with the way these things operate, it's terrorized enough civilians to generate the mass hysteria it needs to start multiplying.  If we don't take these things out, they'll continue to spread and mass into more of the big guys.

That's where we need you.  Sir Luthir, Lan, and I are going after the big guy, but there's who knows how many of the smaller ones floating around right now.  Get a group and head out there - take down any you locate on sight.

The good news is that the smaller ones can't abide sunlight, and they're too dumb to try and hide from it.  But we wanna try to minimize civilian injuries - and keep them from grouping up into the big ones that are smart enough to not only wait out the daylight hours, but can also manipulate people's emotions, and even turn invisible while they're doing it.

The Fihyr are most likely to attack in incredibly public locations: they feed off the spectacle of fear, so attacking one person alone isn't going to earn them the audience they need to reproduce.  If you run into a Greater Fihyr, don't engage it, just try to evacuate the people and keep them calm - and call for back-up.

Oh, and watch out.  They're biters.
