I'm afraid I have some rather ... unfortunate news to relay.  

I spoke with Wynn about our mission progress tonight, and he expressed a certain degree of dissatisfaction with our results, considering the sensitive nature of the artifact.  I think he ... believes he should have sent in several more experienced Knights instead of so many newer recruits, for which I can hardly blame him, although I think everyone's performed more than admirably.  You should be nothing but proud of all you've done.

However, he's asked all of us to return tomorrow to London for a debriefing of sorts, and to discuss several... decisions made by the team.  Myrilandel, Buffy, Kat, Dumage and I will depart from Italy tomorrow, and meet you in England.

I understand it may be particularly difficult for some of you to disentangle yourselves from operations, but I imagine we can come up with some explanation for your sudden departure.

Mr. Descant, I would appreciate if you chose to remain in New Orleans, any updates on developments in our absence.

[ a pause, and then a little sigh.  she looks severely disappointed: though entirely in herself more than anything. ]

Well, it has taken us several months to follow the clues so far as we have: and we still don't know NOVA Records' connection to all this, what part Chad Becksworth or the Brotherhood of the Enlightenment play in it, or anything about Jade whatsoever, and why her name is linked to the Talisman at all.

You heard Finnick. [ and so did buffy bc she's a big freak who's listening in to all of this. ] By the time we're all back to explain, he'll be extracted and totally useless! Wynn's stupid micromanaging is going to ruin that.

Pop stars are known for being eccentric. It would likely only encourage Mr. Becksworth.

And maybe he'll have found a new pop star. They're all interchangeable these days. You really want to risk losing that?

It isn't my decision. I certainly don't appreciate being treated as the villain here.

Makes everything harder. [And Spike'll have to go talk to his mentor again and boy is he ever not looking forward to that, but... besides the point.] Flying to England's not exactly easy.

It takes less than a day to fly to London - we'd be sacrificing no more than one or two out of our schedule.
