it's weird i think something happened to her memories. and not just the general nightscape nonremembering.

like, she used to date rafael or whatever, but rafael's never been to the shadow world, and i'm pretty sure gar said jade was first generation and had only gotten here recently.

doesn't know anything about the lazarus talisman, even though she's the eternal jade so she's supposed to lead us to it or whatver. might be part of the memory issues?

With all the "magic" here, you'd think it would be easy to find some kind of memory recovery spell.

if you get the chance you should ask around the castle about them. i assume kat doesn't know any or she would have used them.

but chances are if people knew how to recover memories, there'd be fewer shadowkind without them.

Maybe there's a difference between memories lost here and the memories we lose when the mist spits us out. Not that I would know. There's no such thing as magic where I'm from.

i did ask him. but he thought she was dead. you didn't see his face when he found out. he cares about her they deserve to see each other again and maybe he can help her remember and figure stuff out.

personally i'd prefer the approach where we don't have to and we can still do the mission.

rafael was offered a contract by nova not too long ago. he didn't have any keen insights, but he wants to help, so maybe he could lend you a hand inflitrating if we dont get picked off of this

the whole so not involved thing? sorry, but whether you think it'd be practical or not, i'd say you've crossed that bridge. you care about her, she cares about you.

so unless you planned to follow up your oh no it'll jeopardize the mission with denying that much, you can stop trying to pretend you're not involved.
