[Dipper's been a knight for a few months and it's been... great. Really great. But it's not perfect. For one very specific reason.

His Pathfinder group is all the way out in New York and when he ditched to go become an actual knight as opposed to playing one with dice, he left the game as well. They tried skyping him in for a little while, but well, timezones. It was pretty difficult. And he misses it.

He can't be the only one, though, so he sends out a message, hoping there are some like-minded people around. There have to be other nerds here, right?]

Sooo does anyone play Dungeons and Dragons here? Well, more specifically, I'm looking for Pathfinder, but if there's a group going on already, I could even settle for 5e.

[Which. Gross.]

If there's not a group going on... anyone interested in starting one up? Don't worry, I can GM. It's really fun, I promise! The math isn't nearly as hard as you think it'll be.

Right now we're looking for either a tank or a rogue ideally. Though you could probably get away with a weird hybrid class if you want to spellcast.

Rogue sounds like a fun change of pace. Think I'll leave tank to the Champion types.

Isn't everyone here a champion type? We're a superhero knight organization.

I've always been more of a moral support kind of guy. Networking, pep rallies, that kind of thing.

You know the whole point of games like this is to be what you're not, right? You don't have to do the same thing you do in real life.

Well, sure. Rogue is still stepping outside of my comfort zone, I promise.

[A peach? That's not a word people have used to describe Dipper very often, but okay.]

Sure, I'm just glad I've found enough people to get a game together. You'd think being a part of a secret crime-fighting organization would kill the roleplay bug, but somehow it doesn't.

It is nice that some things stay consistent.
