I saw you get taken onto that ship. I thought if I hadn't tried to leave, I could have stopped it. After that, it was all about trying to get to you.

I let something else control my entire life for so long. I guess I just got sick of it. I wanted to be better than that.

Leaving the First Order wasn't enough. After I actually fought back and stopped trying to just leave all that behind, I think that's when I realized I finally had it figured out.
