[ some time later in the evening after wynn's initial sending people out via word of mouth, a message will go out over drakenet.  wynn looks particularly grim still, the lines in his face betraying just how much fucking shit has gone wrong tonight. ]

My Knights.  Many of you have been made aware by now that the prisoner in our dungeons, the doppelganger called Kyp who impersonated two members of our Knighthood, infiltrated our sanctum, and helped aid our enemy in delivering those Knights to torture at the hands of Dimitris Sarandis, has escaped.  All evidence points to his being aided and abetted by one of our own.

Sir Elena Gilbert, who possesses similar abilities to his, was seen leaving with him not long ago.  She left behind a message apologizing for her part in this, but not denying it.  My own conversations with Sir Gilbert before her departure lead me to believe their intention is to travel to Andres Isle.  She seems to possess a great amount of sympathy for him, and feared that he would be executed before being granted a chance to redeem himself for what he had done to us.  

Whatever her intentions, this doppelganger has proven himself too dangerous to be allowed to walk free at this time.  We will make every effort to prevent them from traveling outside of England for now - but your standing orders to remain off from Andres soil have not changed. 

Following on the heels of this come further dark tidings.  Sir Luthir Reedhym, one of our eldest, most respected members of the Hide, has fallen in service to his family and Knighthood.  Those connected to the dark forces that led to his downfall will be brought to justice, you may be assured.  When this matter rests, we will host a fitting ceremony to celebrate the life and achievements of our dearly departed friend.

One final matter:  all of this is connected to another event that transpired this night.  A mass suicide of Shadowkind in New York City will certainly be global news tomorrow.  I would like to thank those Knights who stood steadfast even in their grief to do what must be done and save what lives they could.

These are perilous times, but we will face them together.  Stand strong with one another, and do not despair of heart should we fail to make progress tonight.  

We will win the war, whatever battles we may lose.

If she did, she had a good reason. Elena doesn't just do anything. How dangerous are we talking? [ Doppelganger? ]

He delivered two of our number into the hands of one of our most powerful enemies, and replaced them in the castle for months, undetected, gathering intelligence to funnel back to them. Among other things.

Just so you're aware, you're abusing the word 'them.' [ wisdom check 11, because the way that was all laid out it makes it sound like Kyp replaced two knights and funneled information back to them ] What's going to happen to Elena?

She'll be brought back to the castle for questioning. How things unfold from here will determine what other measures are taken.

No one is to harm her, never fear.

[ He's heard that before. But, somehow, she keeps finding danger. And then there was - he tries to think to specific times, but all he knows is Elena makes dangerous decisions for herself. Her name what she is to he and Stefan come clear but other things blur when he tries to think of context. ]

I'm not hearing measures.

That's because they'll be determined after we understand the extent of her guilt.

All I hear is she let somebody impersonating somebody else out of his time-out corner early. That's the extent of her guilt. Look, the thing about Elena, she's compassionate to a fault. She believes there's good in everyone. Or, this is her way of keeping everyone else safe. Threaten her friends and family, she'll fold like a napkin. I'm sure that's what it is.

She aided and abetted a spy, who may continue working for our enemies in the future. He wreaked enough havoc the first time. I won't have it again.

But I don't think you're wrong about Sir Gilbert's motives. She spoke to me before this incident, and implored me to offer him a second chance for redemption. To prove himself.

She's scrappy like that.

[ But, at least Wynn gets that Elena means well. Just his luck. He gets sucked into a different world, his vampirism is fucked with (it's called domination?) and he's had Elena there all month but because of the veil he had no clue. He hates this place even more than he already does. ]

Are there any real leads?

Sir O'Rourke will be attempting a scrying spell, to perhaps see if she can catch a glimpse of where they are.

May I ask where Sir O'Rourke is so I can aid her in her time of need?

She will probably be looking for some personal effects of Elena's, to enhance her spell.
