[ she just looks straight at skye as she grins darkly and answers Sam's question: ] Ohh, you know Lucifer. He gave you that gift of yours, and he's not exactly keen on anyone else fucking with it.

Skye, they can definitely move between planes. Where do you think Hell is; where do you think she just came from?

[His voice is calm as he keeps his eyes on Glasya behind them.]

[ glasya leans up between the seats to grin at skye ] Spoiler - it wasn't Cleveland.

[ Uncomfortable with the proximity, Skye turns her head and hunches her shoulders like a dog raising it haunches. ]

So says you. If it's that easy, why doesn't he pick up the phone and explain for himself? [ Not antagonizing, exactly, more like trying to find proof of a bluff. ]

I don't think he would pick up a phone, exactly. So that's probably not a good idea.

[The fact that he's probably totally listening in on this conversation also doesn't make him very comfortable, yay.]

When Lucifer comes to Earth, it's always a special occasion. Somehow I get the feeling Sam doesn't want to be one.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that if someone tries to mess with this- [He taps his temple] -it's going to be bad for me.

[ She rolls her eyes and takes the kindergarten approach of not saying anything since she has not a single nice thing to say. But she does judgily raise her eyebrows like oR MAYBE BAD FOR YOU, GAYL despite herself. ]

[ she shifts over to lean into sam's space while he's driving b/c that's safe ] Does Dean know you want to learn how to use these powers of yours?

[His eyes skate over to Glasya, pinching at the corners. Stop pushing his buttons, gurl.]

But no, he doesn't. You know how he'd take that, but he's not the one that has to deal with potentially hurting or killing someone on accident. [He looks away, clearly irritated.] Besides, Dean's not all that good at being forthcoming himself, lately.

[astrayed]

[ she raises her eyebrows with a little shrug of 'good point' ] Never forget that he broke his word first. [ it comes out a little more seriously, and she doesn't budge, despite skye's warning, just studying sam's features thoughtfully ] I could show you that much. None of the other stuff.

Sam, this has bad idea written all over it. We can figure something else out.

[familybusiness]

[His eyes search over Glasya's, because he knows that tone. He's heard it before, when she lets go just a little bit of the persona she likes to carry around herself. It's just as much a part of her, and normally it doesn't get to him because she's not using it against him or his friends, but this other part is the one that made him really care about her.

He presses his lips together once before he turns to look at Skye.]

We won't. I've been trying ever since I got here, gone through every book and every search, asked the strongest knights in this field. Doing this the normal way is only going to hurt people, and I won't do that. Please don't ask me to.
